Launch Housing faces an unprecedented opportunity to partner with all levels of government and institutional capital to overcome Australia’s rental and housing affordability crisis. With an ambitious plan to build more housing, the Housing Solutions portfolio is responsible for end-to-end property portfolio accountabilities; property development, enterprise-wide asset management, tenancy services and real estate management services through our award-winning social enterprise HomeGround Real Estate.
Launch Housing has evidenced capacity to develop new homes and over the last 2 years, has delivered 118 new housing outcomes, including the multi award winning supported housing project at Viv’s Place which is now home to 60 women and over 100 children who are victim/survivors of family violence. We have a strong pipeline of 159 new homes committed to be delivered by 2027 and are exploring new partnerships to increase supply in response to the housing crisis faced by many Victorians.
The Development Coordinator role is aligned to a strategic housing growth ambition to deliver more housing, working within the Projects team to support the funding and delivery of new homes.
The Development Coordinator is a key role within the Projects team, which is responsible for the identification, assessment and delivery of housing projects and redevelopment of existing assets to support Launch Housing’s strategic growth ambitions.
This role requires strong administrative skills, confident stakeholder management, and the ability to think outside of the box. Beyond daily support for the team and the projects, this role will be responsible for implementing new processes and procedures to set the team up for success.
The Development Coordinator role will also support the Development Manager with the delivery of housing projects, including general administrative tasks, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring adherence to governance obligations. These roles will work closely together, with the Development Manager responsible for overseeing some of the outcomes required by the Development Coordinator.
This is a full-time, maximum term opportunity until May 2026.
