The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS) is a multi-disciplinary research centre, located at La Trobe University. The Centre has a long history of high quality social, policy and practice research in the areas of blood borne viruses and sexually transmissible infections.
The position will assist with the What Works and Why (W3) Project. The W3 Project encompasses a range of studies and initiatives conducted in collaboration with peer and community-based organisations working in HIV and Hepatitis C. The W3 Project draws on the W3 Framework to implement systems thinking approach to demonstrate the quality and impact of peer and community led programs (see www.w3project.org.au for more details).
Potential for the position to increase to full time and an extension beyond 12 months pending further funding.
