The Consultant position is an entry level position within Larter Consulting.

Larter provides expert advice, support services and education to the health sector, with a focus on the primary health and mental health care sectors, and health care financing. We work with clients to assess community health needs, develop health system plans and strategies, and design and evaluate health programs and services.

Our clients are primarily Primary Health Networks and governments, peak bodies, community health and regional health services. Work is based within and throughout Victoria and Queensland, and occasionally in other states and territories.

Specifically, the role’s functions are:

• Undertaking consulting tasks (in projects that are managed by another Larter consultant)
  • Consulting stakeholders in a variety of ways including interviews, meeting facilitation, online surveys, workshops and other innovative methods
  • Undertaking literature reviews
  • Sorting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data and working with others to reach and test conclusions
  • Writing and editing reports
  • Enhancing reports through the use of graphics, either internally or with the support of an external graphic designer
  • Writing presentations and presenting project progress reports or final reports, such as to steering committees or boards
• Collaborating with other Larter consultants and client representatives
