Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred and active support tailored to each participant’s goals.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, meal preparation and household tasks.
  • Support participants in social and recreational activities within the community.
  • Implement individualised care plans and support strategies.
  • Ensure a safe, respectful and empowering environment for participants.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and progress.

What You Bring

  • Evidence of working with people with disabilities, their families and support networks.
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safety framework and NDIS Code of Conduct.
  • Practical experience in person-centred and active support models.
  • Ability to provide support during overnight sleepover shifts.
  • Experience in team collaboration, supervision and conflict resolution.
  • Strong time management, administrative, and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A resilient and adaptable approach to changing priorities and participant needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 5 plus years of disability support work experience
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a willingness to obtain it.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and NDIS Orientation Module Completion.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check with NDIS endorsement.
  • National Police Check (less than six months old).
  • A valid Australian driver’s license (preferred).
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including overnight and weekends.
