KU Children’s Services is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected providers of a range of early education and care services and is expanding its allied health team to enable access to high quality services for both KU children and families and the wider communities in which we work.

KU embraces and supports vulnerable families and those with children with additional needs, in accessing and participating in quality therapy services (including NDIS services).

The Role

Exciting opportunity for a qualified speech pathologist or senior speech pathologist to make a difference in the lives of children.

Based at KU Sutherland Preschool, the successful applicant will:

  • Deliver speech therapy to children enrolled in KU preschools in the Sutherland area (case load of up to 6 per day)
  • Provide assessments and intervention to children aged 0-7 years old in the local community
  • Provide services to clients with NDIS packages
  • Offer fee for service sessions
  • Report to the allied health manager and be supported by experienced administrators

On offer is a permanent position that will see you working 7.5 hours per day Monday - Friday.

*Working part time is an option with days of work negotiable.

To be considered for this role, the following are essential:

  • Tertiary Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
  • Registration with relevant professional body
  • A current NSW Employee Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
