ABOUT KTF:

KTF is an Australian international aid and development organisation working in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

We work with people and communities to improve the lives, livelihoods and futures of Papua New Guineans. ABOUT THE ROLE:

KTF is looking for a Finance Coordinator to join the team in KTF Head Office, Sydney (hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days in the office). This position reports to the Finance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating bank deposits, direct debits, day-to-day transactions, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinating credit card expenses and reimbursements.
  • Coordinating accounts payable & receivable.
  • Coordinating records and receipts.
  • Assisting month-end report, year-end report.
  • Assisting programs monitoring, requirements and reporting.
  • Assisting audit process.
  • Assisting Finance Manager in day-to-day operations as required.
  • General office admin & operations.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in the use of XERO or equivalent accounting software will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities and complete assignments within timeframes.
  • Ability to use initiative to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, productive working environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office & Google Suite.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an NFP organisation.

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.

This position will require travel both domestically and internationally to PNG from time to time.
