This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to donate their time to an organisation supporting young people in need and who is interested in the governance of not for profit organisations and social enterprises.

This opportunity would suit a tertiary student or early career worker that is interested in working in Human Resources, Community Development, the For Purpose sector or any other professional space that requires governance. It is also suitable for a more experienced professional who wants the opportunity to observe governance meetings. There may be opportunities available for additional professional development and organisational contributions, depending on the candidate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinating and attending Board and Committee meetings
• Support meeting delivery including, where relevant, preparing agendas and taking notes
• Supporting the committees with administrative tasks including formatting and preparing relevant document
• Other duties as appropriate to support the Board and committee meetings based on organisational needs and the interest and experience of the candidate

This would be a commitment of approximately 4 - 8 hours per month.

• A highly organised person who enjoys administrative tasks
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency using Google Suite or equivalent

REQUIREMENTS

You must hold a current Working with Children Check or be willing to apply for one before commencing the role.
