We are seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our brand-new Kindergarten located on a School Site at Devon Meadows Primary School Kindergarten. Working in a Sessional Kindergarten setting under the VECTEA (Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement) 46/52 model can offer a great work-life balance, with the benefit of getting paid during school holidays.

• Support the Early Childhood Teacher to innovate, develop and implement the educational program.
• Work in partnership with children, families and the community.
• Encourage the development of self-esteem and promotion of self-expression, creativity, security, independence, happiness, and the opportunity to achieve.
• Access ongoing professional development focused on relational pedagogy and trauma informed practice

About you

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (or working towards)
• Demonstrated skill and experience working in an early education and care setting
• Proven ability to work in a cohesive team environment
• Demonstrated understanding and capability for working with diverse communities
