About the role

As the Placements and Review Coordinator, you will support and coordinate the day to day operation of the NSW Key Assets placement services, including placement matching process so that children and young people referred by Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) are placed according to need and best match. To support social workers completing carer reviews.

You will work within Key Assets policies and procedures in accordance with the Key to Care Practice framework.

The successful candidate will

  • Social work or human services qualification or equivalent
  • Have experience of working directly with children/young people, including teenagers, in the care system or other relevant field both through individual and group work.
  • Be highly energised and have a passion for delivering a high standard of service
  • Be highly committed, resourceful, possess excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Have experience of working with children with complex history’s
  • A reasonable knowledge of Child Safeguarding Procedures
  • Have a current/or be able to obtain a Working With Children Card and satisfactorily complete other personal and statutory check as required
