Based in Subiaco, and reporting directly to the Corporate Services Director you will be responsible for leading our Database and Infrastructure teams as we review and develop the IT strategic priorities and initiatives for Cancer Council Western Australia.

Your key area of responsibility will be:

  • Conduct a review of CCWA’s CRM and examine its capacity, security, stability, resources and performance as it relates to our current and future organisational needs and develop solutions that will support the organisations vision and mission

Your other main responsibilities include

  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to understand capability and support requirements
  • Build a Data Management Strategy with a focus on the CRM
  • Ensure IT initiatives are scoped and implemented within timeframes and budget
  • Advise, evaluate and report on IT risks and issues
  • Be responsible for the governance standards and procedures and related documents for IT
  • Be a strong team leader and ensure they are meeting performance and conduct objectives

Who are you?

To be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes:

  • Tertiary qualification in a computer related field or Project Management with at least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience developing a Data Management Strategy
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing CRM solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Database Management Systems
  • Understanding of structured query language (SQL)
  • Ability to understand organisational needs
  • Well-developed strategic thinking skills with a commitment to implementing innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
  • Actively foster the development of a culture consistent with the values of Cancer Council WA
  • Positive approach to the workplace
