We have an opportunity to join the Support Services team. As a Cancer Support Coordinator based at Fiona Stanley Hospital you will provide support services to assist people affected by cancer.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing emotional, social and practical support to individuals, families and communities affected by cancer
• Assist in the delivery of support programs
• Ensuring the hospital community has access to our latest information
• Promoting and increasing awareness of our support services
• Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Developing and managing a team of skilled support Volunteers
• Maintaining, collecting, analysing and reporting on data for the centre

Who are you?

To be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes:

• A tertiary qualification in Health or Allied Health, desirably registered with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency or equivalent body
• Current Australian drivers licence
• Well-developed relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
• Have a positive approach to the workplace
• Actively foster the development of a culture consistent with the values of Cancer Council WA
• Experience in providing support to people diagnosed & living with cancer is desirable
