Kyabra’s Support Worker Services team facilitate a range of direct supports for NDIS Participants, in order to assist them to work towards their goals as identified in their NDIS plans.

This role will involve providing mentoring and role modelling to Support Workers including meeting with Participants and their support networks. You will be responsible for ensuring Support Workers have up-to-date knowledge regarding Participants, their support needs and goals, as well as organisational policies, procedures and support needed to carry out their role to the highest quality. The role may also involve some matching and rostering of Support Workers to work alongside NDIS Participants. You will be working in conjunction with the team and the Coordinator to facilitate direct support for Participants who have a range of needs, and you will be encouraged to assist Support Workers to explore creative solutions to complex challenges.

A Bachelor degree in a relevant Human Service field is preferred. Other qualifications and experience may be considered.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, Level 3 or 4 (dependent on qualifications and experience).
