Kyabra Community Association Inc. is a strengths based organisation that provides integrated responses to people in our community. We work with individuals and families with sometimes complex issues which may include support and advocacy through the systems which significantly impact on individual and family lives, such as; domestic violence; child protection; income support; housing; mental health and healthcare; disability; education and legal.

The role provides case management support to individuals and families in our Temporary Supported Accommodation Housing Program, our Domestic and Family Violence Shelter and our Mobile Domestic & Family Violence Support Service. The focus will be on supporting community member’s aspirations, growth and change within a strengths-based approach in relation to obtaining longer-term secure, affordable and sustainable housing options.

Experience and knowledge in the housing and homelessness and domestic and family violence sector is essential for this role. Knowledge of client management systems such as QHIP & SHIP and/or other databases are highly desirable, as well as case management experience.

This position requires participation in an on-call roster.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 4 ($41.52 - $44.68 per hour). A Bachelor Degree in Social Work/Human Services or similar is an essential requirement for this role.
