Situated on Noongar country, Karla Kuliny plays a pivotal role in transformative reforms within Western Australia's Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) sector. With a commitment to enhancing the well-being of Aboriginal children through emphasising stability in care, cultural connections, and better service delivery. Karla Kuliny has secured a significant contract to provide foster care services in the Perth metropolitan area, contributing to better outcomes for children and young people in care.
The Recruitment and Support Officer at Karla Kuliny plays a vital role within the Community Foster Care Program and reports to the CEO. Responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes, this role involves developing marketing materials for advertising roles, coordinating interviews, ensuring compliance, and overseeing onboarding for new foster carers.
In addition to recruitment, the Officer supports carers by organising sessions, assessments, and post-accreditation training. Engaging with the community, this role serves as a key contact for enquiries, coordinating promotional activities, and nurturing relationships within the broader community.
This pivotal role reflects Karla Kuliny’s commitment to cultivating a compassionate and capable community of foster carers, ensuring stable and supportive homes for children in care.
