About the role

As the Operations Manager of Home Care Packages you will lead a team committed to delivering high quality Home Care Packages to older Australians in need of support to live independently in their community and/or residential setting (excluding Residential Aged Care) and services to help people stay connected to their community.

Home Care Packages are for people who require a coordinated approach to the delivery of their supports including daily tasks and more complex care needs associated with ageing, disability and health care and mental health support needs. Supports are coordinated using a person directed approach and services can include assistance with household tasks, equipment, minor home modifications personal and clinical care such as nursing, allied health and physiotherapy services.

About You

• A relevant Tertiary Qualification and/or proven experience in Business and/or Management;
• A proven track record in delivering exceptional service;
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Human Services Sector and achieving excellence in client services;
• Detailed knowledge of program activities and work practices relevant to Home Care Packages;
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and motivate staff for success;
• Proven track record in driving revenue and growing businesses;
• Must have, or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check;
• Directions from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer require all Victorian-based workers to have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 22 October 2021 and to be fully vaccinated by 26 November 2021, unless they are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions. All applicants must therefore be able to comply with this requirement.
