The Innovation and Impact Manager is a key member of the leadership team that will play an integral role and provide expertise that will help grow, shape and evolve the organisation’s strategic capability, advocacy, practice and outcomes.

This role will drive the achievement of Karakan’s vision, strategic objectives and our commitment to be a leading and trusted voice and provider of psychosocial services. You will do this by leading the design, growth and evaluation of best-practice recovery-oriented services that most effectively support people with a lived experience of mental health needs to achieve their hopes and goals.

This role is highly strategic in nature. You will be a leader responsible for overseeing and driving impact with the aim to optimise value-creation for clients, community and funders. about you

You will have extensive expertise and proven success in the following areas:

  • Leading design and development of contemporary practice frameworks and psychosocial programs/services
  • Working with community, government and peak body stakeholders to support advocacy and strategic development opportunities
  • Research, collating and leveraging contemporary evidence and data to support strategic proposals, reports and advocacy statements
  • Mental Health community, non clinical support services
  • Relevant tertiary qualification

Key Roles and Responsibilities of this position will be:

  • Drive strategic projects as aligned to Karakan’s strategic plan
  • Promote and drive stakeholder engagement with community, sector and government to support strategic development and advocacy opportunities
  • Identify and shape opportunities to provide mental health services in the changing sector environment
  • Research, interpret and present data and information to inform service innovations and design, improvement, impact reporting and achievement of strategic objectives
  • Implementation of service outcome frameworks and monitoring and evaluation plans
