This is a senior management role within our service. You will be responsible for ensuring we deliver high quality, coordinated and safe services supporting older Australians to live safe, healthy, active and fulfilled lives that they choose in their own homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the senior management team in leading the organisation to meet strategic and business plan outcomes.
  • Provide clinical leadership and governance across the service to meet the needs of clients, and the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to direct reports to achieve strategic and business outcomes and meet legislative requirements.
  • Drive business growth by building ongoing relationships with hospital discharge planners, medical centres and referral agencies ensuring timely response in collating and communicating with potential client enquiries.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and reviews of the service to ensure compliance in meeting the Aged Care Quality Standards.

The successful candidate will provide Jubilee Community Care with proven experience in meeting the following key selection criteria:

  • Proven management and workforce planning experience in leading and mentoring direct reports in meeting the care and support needs of aged care clients.
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership and experience in the assessment, planning and delivery of care and support services for aged consumers in meeting the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Ability to critically analyse and implement improvements to continuously develop performance and achieve strategic and business plans.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders such as clients, families, referral agencies, and community groups.
  • Drive and self-motivation. You need to be a self-starter, an experienced problem-solver, and able to thrive in a flexible work environment. You will be willing to take on a caseload if necessary, taking ownership of staff and client challenges working collaboratively to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Experience in undertaking service reviews and audits to ensure compliance in meeting the Aged Care Quality Standards.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team
  • Excellent communication skills

Key requirements:

  • Current APHRA Nursing Registration
  • Management experience working in an aged care environment
  • Current OPEN driver’s licence
  • Willingness to participate in the “On-Call” roster on a rotational basis
  • Australian wide Police Clearance Certificate or the ability obtain one
