The Organisation:

A leading charity providing Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) that enables people to live life their way. They offer support and guidance in the housing sector to people with disability.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaging Tenancy Project Manager who can help drive actions related to an exciting new initiative. The role will work actively with a diverse representation of tenants to help them prepare for, and participate in, advisory functions within the business. This is a new and exciting opportunity that has the potential to make a real difference not just for the organisation, but also for the SDA sector.

This is a person-focused position responsible for liaising with and supporting people with disability to come together and shape decisions that positively impact their living experience.

We are seeking a positive and solutions-driven individual to step into this role and manage a range of project-related responsibilities.

Your role will include overseeing the following:

• Draft policy related to the project
• Prepare Expressions of Interest (EOI) documents and facilitate the EOI process
• Receive and review EOIs
• Review initial eligibility and suitability of tenants based on predetermined criteria
• Liaise with tenants to get additional information as needed
• Develop member profiles
• Convene and coordinate an EOI panel
• Prepare onboarding packs
• Assist the Chair and Co-Chair to prepare materials (including support resources) for meetings

The Person:

You’ll be driven and show genuine passion for building capability within your project. In addition, you:

• model a positive attitude, professional conduct, and unwavering commitment to quality
• have an understanding of residential tenancy law, contractual and internal policy, practice, and reporting requirements in the sector
• enjoy working with a high-performing group of colleagues and peers and accept responsibility and accountability
• have sound knowledge of NDIS and Specialist Disability Accommodation (preferable)
• possess excellent customer service and time management skills

The Offer:

The Tenancy Project Manager position is offered on a 6-Month basis, with potential to extend (and other flexible options around tenure also exist).

A competitive FTE salary circa $110K plus superannuation is on offer as is attractive NFP salary packaging.
