The Organisation

Based in the Northern suburbs (with hybrid working-from-home options), this wonderful community focused not for profit organisation has spent almost fifteen years providing support services, community engagement programs and education.

The Position

Initially a six-month contract position (with a high likelihood of permanency when next round of funding is approved), you will be reporting directly to the CEO of the organisation.

The objective of the role is to efficiently and effectively lead, engage, build and develop the Program Team Leaders and their staff.

The role will focus on:

• providing high level leadership, direction and supervision to staff to ensure strategic priorities and key performance targets are met
• oversee all program implementation, review, reporting and evaluation ensuring alignment with objectives and funding requirements
• leading service growth, development, innovation, and enhancement
• ensure a focus on continuous quality improvement including the review of processes and capabilities to maximise service delivery and performance
• lead by example and build an organisational culture that fosters and supports teamwork.

The Person

To be successful in this role you will have:

• a relevant appropriate tertiary qualification (preferably at degree level or higher) in Social Work, management or a related discipline is desirable
• demonstrated management experience and a background in successfully managing the delivery of state-wide, diverse service programs
• prior experience with government funded, social program delivery
• a values-based approach to service delivery through a demonstrated commitment to the principles of social justice, and person-centred and client-led service delivery
