The Organisation:

A long-established, high-profile, and well-regarded state-wide charitable organisation with a Central office based in the Eastern suburbs. It has an enviable reputation for the quality of its work in supporting people experiencing disadvantage in our community.

We are now seeking an Interim Executive General Manager, Support Services, to lead a large team of nearly 60 dedicated individuals who provide shared services to underpin those in the organisation who deliver practical support to, and advocacy for, the most vulnerable people in our community.

The Role:

As a ‘trusted adviser’ to the CEO and Executive Team, this executive role provides technical and adaptive leadership to ensure that the organisation is supported to achieve its objectives through excellent delivery of support services through the following teams:

  • People and Culture
  • Transformation and Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Marketing and Communications

The Interim EGM Support Services role will oversee the support services teams to ensure the organisation’s internal systems and processes are future-ready for growth and service excellence. You will work closely with the CEO to support the organisation’s staff, volunteers, stakeholders, and clients as it continues to grow its operations.

The Person:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Extensive executive leadership experience within medium to large, complex organisations
  • Demonstrated skills in change management and innovation which have resulted in significant improvement in customer and employee experiences and business outcomes, processes, and systems
  • Knowledge and/or previous experience in the Not-For-Profit sector, preferably with experience overseeing People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, and/or ICT functions
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, HR, or another relevant field

The organisation offers a flexible, supportive and collaborative work environment, with hybrid/WFH options. a competitive salary package of between $220K to $250K plus superannuation, and access to attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging.
