About the Role:

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a key role in delivering and growing fundraising programs that drive income generation and deepen community engagement.

This role focuses on raising funds across a number of programs, including capital campaign, annual giving, mid-level giving, bequests, donor relations, and prospect management, while building a strong and sustainable pipeline of future supporters.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and strategically growing the Annual Giving Appeal, driving income growth, year on year.
• Growing mid-level giving across capital and living gifts.
• Managing and expanding the bequest program, including identifying prospective members and stewarding planned giving donors.
• Managing a dynamic prospect portfolio, developing pipelines and securing five and six-figure gifts through effective relationship management.
• Partnering with the communications team to develop compelling stories that drive donor engagement and appeal success.
• Managing donor engagement events and supporting a comprehensive program to ensure personalised and impactful donor recognition.

About you:

We are seeking an experienced fundraising/philanthropy professional who thrives on building authentic relationships and driving meaningful community impact.

To be successful, you will possess:

• 3 plus years’ experience in community fundraising (preferably across major donors or capital campaigns).
• Demonstrated success in securing five and six-figure gifts and managing a dynamic prospect pipeline.
• Strong experience delivering high-quality events that drive engagement and strengthen relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with databases and using data strategically to drive engagement and fundraising outcomes.

Located in Parkville, close to public transport and with free parking available, this opportunity is a full-time, permanent role, with a base salary of $120K plus superannuation and many benefits. Hybrid working available.
