RSL Victoria - The Returned & Services League, Victorian Branch - is the largest and oldest veteran charity in Victoria. Its mission is to provide the best possible support and services to all generations of veterans in Victoria, operating within the values of respect, transparency, integrity, mateship, tradition, compassion and empathy.
The organisation provides a range of programs, services and initiatives to improve the lives of veterans and their families, raises funds to support these services, leads appropriate commemoration of service, and provides overarching leadership to a network of over 270 Sub-Branches throughout the State.
The Executive General Manager Fundraising, Marketing and Communications is a key leadership role with RSL Victoria, reporting directly to the CEO, and is part of the Executive Leadership Team. In this newly created role, you will provide leadership, vision and strategic direction for the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Teams, and the organisation as a whole.
You will be responsible for planning, management, resourcing and review of all fundraising, building on the long-standing ANZAC Appeal and Poppy Appeal as well as the development of strategies to drive fundraising, engagement of donor and supporter bases, and building external relationships and networks to raise the profile of the RSL. You will also ensure that the iconic RSL brand is supported through innovative and strategic marketing and communications functions across a range of media and platforms.
