Our client, a respected community health organisation, has chosen to work exclusively with Johnson Recruitment in their search for an Executive Assistant to the CEO. About the Role

This opportunity exists to provide high-level executive and administrative support to the CEO, Company Secretary and Board. Working within the Office of the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth coordination of executive operations, governance activities and stakeholder engagement.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a trusted support partner who can anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Strategic diary, inbox and meeting management for the CEO
  • Coordinating Board and committee meetings including agendas, papers and minute taking
  • Preparing high-quality reports, presentations and executive documentation
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support effective communication and relationships
  • Assisting with governance administration, action tracking and executive coordination

About You

You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting a CEO, Executive Team and Board within sectors such as community health, healthcare, not-for-profit or professional services.

You will also bring:

  • Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive and board support
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities autonomously
  • Highly developed written communication skills including minute taking and report preparation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with technology, as well as Board Management Systems
  • A proactive, professional and discreet approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Have a continuous improvement development mindset

You will also be required to complete a National Police Check, hold a current driver’s licence and possess full Australian working rights.
