The Opportunity

As the Tax Manager, you will be instrumental in leading our Tax Practice, working within a small dynamic team of like-minded individuals. Your primary focus will be on the Tax Practice, fostering business opportunities, delivering quality compliant solutions within our Tax division, growing and developing our tax team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving the Tax Practice forward, leveraging your extensive tax knowledge and experience.
• Collaborating with diverse clients, providing expert tax advice and solutions.
• Developing innovative strategies, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance.
• Fostering growth opportunities through participation in trade shows and conferences.
• Leading, mentoring, and guiding a team towards excellence in tax management.

This position is based in Darwin and is a full-time role offering a flexible, hybrid work arrangement (combining office and working from home).

You will have the following essential skills and qualifications:

• CA or CPA qualification is essential.
• Experience with Xero Tax and Xero Practice Manager.
• Strong expertise and experience in tax management.
• Outstanding communication, strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Agile, adaptable, and committed to high-quality processes.
• Tech-savvy with a keen eye for detail.
