VACRO is a non-government, non-denominational organisation working with people in contact with the justice system and their families. Founded in 1872 (as the Discharged Prisoners’ Aid Society of Victoria), VACRO works closely with government and non-profit organisations.
Working with a dynamic Development team, you will lead VACRO’s criminal justice policy work. Using VACRO’s deep knowledge of the criminal justice sector, your work will focus on policies that help create new beginnings for people caught in the criminal justice system, and their families.
Your strong research and policy background will enable you to successfully implement VACRO’s policy priorities by taking advantage of strategic opportunities to influence developments in the corrections and justice sectors. Use your outstanding research and writing skills to develop rigorous and creative content that influences government, policy makers and the public.
