As the Director, Resident Services, you will provide proactive leadership and drive service excellence with the teams delivering Disability Homes Victoria’s tenancy and property services. You will also be a key member of the senior leadership team as the organisation seeks to embark on ambitious renewal and growth reforms. The role requires effective program oversight and strategic coordination in a high volume, complex operational and stakeholder environment to ensure Specialist Disability Accommodation regulatory and quality requirements are met.
Success in this role requires a highly responsive leader who is a self-starter and has deep relevant operational experience. Including in delivering business transformation projects. You will have a track record of managing service delivery teams which place client needs at the centre. Superior stakeholder relationship management, strategic thinking and skilled communication are also important attributes to deliver in this role.
Experience in managing teams delivering disability, social housing or analogous services is an essential requirement.
Homes Victoria is the government agency managing Victoria’s expanded social and affordable housing system.
As a branch of Homes Victoria, Disability Homes Victoria manages the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes and other assets, including over 800 properties valued at almost $1 billion. The SDA portfolio provides valued, stable, and secure homes to around 3,000 residents with significant disabilities, and workplaces for more than 50 Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers.
