Role Overview

This role is a strategic role that is required to drive Community Fundraising (CF) campaign nationally restoring its position in the JDRF fundraising portfolio and doubling revenue over the five-year strategy time horizon. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the National Manager Community Fundraising will take responsibility for the design, development and delivery of the annual program of CF activities.

Which include but are not limited to:

• One Walk
• Blue Army
• Giving Day

In this role you will lead the Fundraising and Engagement Team and work closely with volunteers, stakeholders, and where appropriate third-party suppliers.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5+ years experience in fundraising / NFP
• Demonstrated experience in achieving revenue targets
• Demonstrated experience in developing and co-coordinating a matrix team-based approach to successfully motivate the completion of tasks through staff, suppliers and volunteers
• Well-developed campaign/project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Excellent organisational skills, including the development of work plans with tasks, timelines and responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills including the ability to establish rapport, build relationships, generate commitment and motivate people.
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Highly-developed interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Computer literacy; developed MS Office skills including MS Project
