About the Role:

We’re searching for an effective training facilitator, with experience delivering programs in mental health and wellbeing, to join us as a contract trainer, for online and in-person session delivery across Sydney, and inter-state.

Our contract trainers deliver industry leading, structured training courses (sometimes with sensitive content), to diverse participants. These programs are carefully constructed and include evidence-based mechanisms for managing psychological safety, and optimising learning about potentially disturbing content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured training courses, both online and in-person, to groups from a variety of background and industries.
• Tailor the training content to the needs of the group, and draw on your significant experience of people management to provide examples that are pertinent to the key learning outcomes.
• Assess training needs effectively, and measure effectiveness through feedback and evaluation.
• Collaborate with our team to identify potential skill gaps and training opportunities, for the organisations we work with.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to support optimisation of content.

About You:

• Proven experience in training and learning & development, within the mental health and/or people management sector.
• Strong ability to deliver structured training materials, in an appropriate and engaging way for each individual training group.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a reassuring manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different teams.
• Familiarity with the privacy and confidentiality requirements of an allied health practice.
• A robust understanding of intellectual property requirements, and how to manage these effectively.
