The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within DVAC.

DVAC works with individuals and communities to eliminate, prevent and respond to domestic and family violence, and sexual violence by collaboratively providing quality support services.

The HRBP position formulates partnerships across the human resource and work health and safety functions to develop people management and leadership capability that enables leaders to create a more effective employee experience, drive employee engagement and achieve operational outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Possession of a degree in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 3 years in a HR generalist role with exposure at strategic and operational level
  • Experience resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Ability to coach others to build capacity and confidence in managing people
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Current driver’s licence, Blue Card & COVID Vaccination (or medical exemption)
  • All DVAC staff are required to complete a National Police Check upon successful offer of position.
