We are the leading force driving sustainability in infrastructure, ensuring all projects deliver social, cultural, environmental, and economic benefits.

If you thrive in a collaborative, responsible, and dynamic environment, this is your chance to shape high-impact events that inspire and connect industry leaders while driving sustainability forward.

About the Role

As the Senior Events Manager, you’ll be the driver behind exceptional, high-profile events that engage members, attract sponsors, and create lasting industry impact. From Executive roundtables to gala awards, you’ll design and execute a variety of in-person and digital events that showcase ISC’s mission, strengthen industry relationships, and generate revenue.

You’ll lead the charge or be the key point of contact on ISC’s flagship events including:

  • Annual Connect Conferences (NZ, AU, WA)
  • Gala Awards – A premier celebration of sustainability excellence
  • Executive roundtables, certification events, networking sessions, and professional development programs

This is not just an events role—it’s an opportunity to drive meaningful change, create memorable experiences, and foster industry-wide engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver & innovate ISC’s event strategy, ensuring a dynamic mix of virtual and live experiences that cater to executives, professionals, and decision-makers.
  • Lead event production, including vendor management, venue coordination, catering, speaker engagement, and logistics.
  • Partner with a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) to ensure seamless delivery of our major conferences.
  • Oversee sponsorship acquisition and revenue generation—play a key role in attracting event partners.
  • Manage budgets and drive efficiencies, ensuring ISC’s events remain financially sustainable.
  • Ensure post-event reporting and KPI tracking, delivering data-driven insights that optimize future events.
  • Engage with internal teams and industry stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive and successful event calendar.
  • Occasional interstate & New Zealand travel to execute ISC’s diverse event portfolio.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of corporate event leadership experience, with a proven ability to develop, execute, and optimise large-scale events.
  • Budget management expertise—you know how to maximise resources while delivering unforgettable experiences.
  • Tech-savvy approach—experience with Teams (webinars), Eventbrite, and similar event platforms is essential.
  • Exceptional communication & stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise across business units and external partners.
  • Strong organisational ability, balancing strategic event planning with flawless execution.
  • Client-focused mindset—you create events that inspire, educate, and deliver value.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Make an impact—your events will shape infrastructure sustainability and drive real-world change.
  • Work with passionate professionals who believe in the power of collaboration and innovation.
  • Travel opportunities, connecting with sustainability leaders across Australia & New Zealand.
  • Lead landmark events, from executive roundtables to nation-wide conferences.
