WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The role is a Full-time position, with some flexibility with the way hours are worked available for the right person; the position is based at our Ferntree Gully site.

SKILL SET

• Relevant Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
• Experience in working and engaging with families and individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Experienced in working with people with disabilities
• Sound knowledge of positive behaviour support with a passion for human rights.
• Sound knowledge base of disabilities and families.
• Experience in working with people with behaviours of concern and support
• Excellent communication skills

• A Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• In addition to the safety screening, the successful applicant will be required to provide proof of currency for: first aid certification – Provide First Aid HLTAID0012, manual handling and undertake the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
