Intelife is looking for Support Workers to support people with a disability to live a full and happy life in which they can reach their goals and realise their dreams.

The Job

These are rewarding roles that offer work-life balance, flexibility and the opportunity to further your career based in our Midland office. 

We have casual and part-time roles available.

You'll support participants with a range of abilities to maintain and develop new skills, engage in community activities and build meaningful relationships. No two days are the same - you may find yourself supporting a person to go to the gym, take part in a group bowling activity, learn how to catch the bus, cook a meal or get ready for a job interview. It all depends on what they'd like to achieve.

About you

  • experience in working with individuals with challenging behaviours 
  • passionate about helping others  
  • able to work autonomously  
  • able to work with people with varied support needs  
  • flexible and able to cope with changing demands  
  • able to complete records and reports efficiently 

You’ll also have or be willing to obtain:

  • a NDIS Worker Screening check  
  • a Working with Children Check   
  • a valid National Police Clearance of no more than 3-months old   
  • Provide First Aid Certificate  

And you’ll need:

  • the appropriate right to work in Australia  
  • a valid WA driver’s licence  
  • a roadworthy, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle that you are willing to use at work (kms will be reimbursed)  

Desirable

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent  
  • Previous experience supporting people with disabilities
