Inside Out Recovery is a hoarding specialist intervention service providing in home support to people living in either a hoarded and or squalid environment.

We are a dynamic team of passionate advocates of mental health recovery, and we work from a person centred and trauma informed approach and believe that mental health recovery is possible.

We are a small service achieving great things, providing researched based and wrap around support for people living in very cluttered and or squalid environments.

We currently have volunteer positions available to work alongside our existing contractors to assist them in providing support to vulnerable participants, living in very cluttered environments.

People with a lived experience of either hoarding or mental health are encouraged to apply as well as people from diverse backgrounds.

We are seeking volunteers across Sydney, Illawarra, Nowra and Goulburn.

YOU WILL NEED OR A WILLINGNESS TO OBTAIN:

• A class C drivers’ licence
• A current WWCC - volunteer
• A current Police Check (within the last 3 years) - volunteer
• A NDIS Worker Screening Check - volunteer
• NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (see here)
• An NDIS PPE and Prevention Control Module 1-9 (Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures (healthcourses.com.au))
• A willingness to travel 1 hour from your place of residence.
• You will need the ability to provide support in extremely cluttered environments.
• Desirable – a lived experience of hoarding and or mental health.
