InComPro is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) specialising in the provision of culturally sound services for the Aboriginal Community including people living with a disability or complex needs. InComPro offers a range of services to their participants including: case management, supported accommodation, respite services, tenancy support, social activities, community and cultural engagement.
About the Job:
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time (0.6 FTE) Senior Project Officer who will work closely with the CEO, COO and Board to implement a range of policy and project initiatives to take InComPro to the next level of governance management with the aim of maintaining quality accreditation, while investigating new business opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
- Understanding of the importance of the spiritual and cultural connection Aboriginal people have with their country, family and community
- Knowledge and experience in NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Legislation
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a governance or project management role
- Has experience in networking/liaising with Aboriginal Community Organisations, Government Departments and Non-Government organisations (NGO)
- Experience in planning, developing and coordinating business plans, budgets and expenditure
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication and negotiation skills and an ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders including clients, families, staff, government agencies and other non-government organisations
- Australian full driver’s licence (unrestricted)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Check (less than 6 months old)
- Flexibility to travel between work locations including country areas
