This is a rare opportunity to design and scale high-impact programs within a nationally recognised social enterprise on a mission to end period poverty in Australia by 2030. You will work closely with the Founder to build impact initiatives that are deeply impactful.
TABOO is an Australian social enterprise selling high-quality, certified organic cotton period care, with all net profits supporting initiatives that end period poverty. TABOO is redefining how business can create lasting community impact.
Period poverty is where someone is unable to access dignified period care or menstrual health education, therefore limiting their capacity to engage fully in life. It affects thousands of people across Australia, most commonly intersecting with experiences of disadvantage including homelessness, domestic violence, disability, incarceration or geographic isolation. Through TABOO’s hero program, Pad It
Forward, and other menstrual health education initiatives, TABOO ensures that people experiencing period poverty have access to essential period products and quality, stigma-free health education.
With an ambitious vision to end period poverty in Australia by 2030, TABOO is entering an exciting new chapter of building scalable, fundable, evidence-driven programs, campaigns and initiatives that effectively ensure people have access to the period care and menstrual health education they deserve.
This role is an opportunity to shape national conversations around menstrual equity while building robust, measurable programs that maximise social return on investment.
Reporting directly to the CEO / Founder, this role is first and foremost about program design and impact architecture.
You will design, cost, refine and deliver programs that sit at the intersection of menstruation and systemic disadvantage. You will build clear program models, develop detailed budgets, establish delivery frameworks, and create measurable impact pathways that make it easy for funders, partners and corporates to support with confidence.
A key focus will be TABOO’s growing education portfolio. TABOO is an approved provider of menstrual health education for public schools in South Australia and is experiencing increasing demand on a national scale for education delivery. You will design a clear education delivery strategy, including pricing models, accessibility pathways, and partnership frameworks ensuring quality, scalability and inclusion.
You will also lead and evolve the Pad It Forward program, ensuring it continues to operate with clarity, measurable outcomes and financial sustainability.
This is a hands-on leadership role blending high-level program strategy with delivery, partner engagement, impact measurement, grant acquisition, financial oversight, and compelling storytelling.
If you are ready to design bold, fundable, community-driven programs and lead the next phase of impact for TABOO, we would love to hear from you.
