Join National Breast Cancer Foundation, (NBCF) in this exciting opportunity to drive the growth and development of the major gifts program, fostering impactful relationships with high-net-worth donors to support groundbreaking breast cancer research and advance NBCF’s ambitious vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation funding world-class breast cancer research towards our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, they have invested over $200 million into more than 600 world-class research projects across Australia.
In this time, the death rate from breast cancer in Australia has reduced by over 40%. They have seen remarkable results, but the job’s not done.
The team at NBCF are determined to create a better tomorrow. They know research matters, and it is central and critical to improving breast cancer outcomes.
The Philanthropy Manager is a pivotal role that will accelerate the growth of NBCF’s major gifts program, driving progress toward their bold vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Reporting to the General Manager of Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will manage a high-profile portfolio of major donors, including high-net-worth individuals, families, giving circles, and private foundations. Your strategic efforts will directly support NBCF’s bold 5-year Pink Horizon research strategy, to enable and accelerate the innovative research needed to end deaths from breast cancer.
In this role, you will be empowered to grow and nurture new and existing relationships, re-engage lapsed prospects, and transition mid-level donors into major donors. You will be responsible for managing your own pipeline of opportunities, making six-figure asks, and collaborating with the Individual Giving team to identify opportunities for cross-promotion and donor upgrades.
As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be at the heart of building NBCF’s funding capacity, playing a key role in delivering long-term impact and ambitious growth for their vision. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative team, ensuring that NBCF’s critical work in breast cancer research is supported by a sustainable and flourishing philanthropic network.
