Impact you will have in this role

As the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will lead a dynamic team to grow and manage a portfolio of high-value, multi-faceted corporate partnerships that deliver meaningful outcomes for Guide Dogs’ State Members, clients, partners, and communities on a national scale.

We’re looking for a senior partnerships leader who thrives on building strong, trusted relationships and can strategically influence key stakeholders.

You’ll need to be just as comfortable implementing big-picture strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a thriving partnership strategy, while building new, and nurturing existing relationships with corporate partners
  • Lead the team to drive significant financial and in-kind support and develop sustainable growth of partnership support
  • Drive new and existing partnership revenue and growth opportunities to meet set targets
  • Identify and secure new national partnerships across multiple industry sectors
  • Lead existing key partner renewals and expand opportunities
  • Develop, track and manage annual and multi-year partnership and campaign budgets, financial performance and associated planning, forecasting and timely, accurate reporting
  • Deliver a national workplace giving platform and innovative recognition framework
  • Collaborate strongly with internal stakeholders across a national and federated model to drive for impact and results

Skills and Experience

  • Proven success in a similar senior-level partnerships role, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams, securing new corporate partnerships, and strategically managing and expanding existing partner relationships to deliver sustainable growth
  • Demonstrated success delivering outcomes through partner relationships that meet strategic goals and mutually focused objectives
  • Success in building a pipeline of partnerships and identifying, researching, cultivating, pitching, and securing high-level partnerships and commercial outcomes
  • Strong commercial and marketing acumen, ideally in a not-for-profit or federated environment
  • Inspirational leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team
  • Experience working with stakeholders in dispersed geographical locations, with strong collaboration and a solutions-focused manner
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • An influential and collaborative approach in building and maintaining strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong budget management experience with the ability to apply analytical thinking
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and convey complex ideas or content to a variety of audiences
  • Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to travel out of state when needed
