Make a real impact by building leadership capability, shaping a positive employee experience, and driving culture and engagement across a purpose-led organisation.
This is a perfect opportunity for a people-focused HR Business Partner passionate about enabling individuals and teams to thrive.
NextSense is a not-for-profit organisation that has been breaking boundaries for people with hearing or vision loss for more than 160 years. Formerly known as the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children, they now support over 10,000 children and adults across Australia each year through world-class education, allied health, clinical services, and Australia’s largest cochlear implant program.
The organisation works with people of all ages, from newborns to those in their 90s, and takes a personalised, holistic approach to care.
As a NDIS provider and a leader in professional education and research, they are committed to delivering life-changing outcomes and building a more inclusive world for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind or have low vision.
The Business Partner, People & Culture plays a critical role in empowering leaders, shaping the employee experience, and fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will work collaboratively across your portfolio to deliver tailored people solutions, build leadership capability, and drive engagement.
You will be both a strategic advisor and a hands-on partner, providing expert guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, change management, and organisational development initiatives.
Your work will be central to ensuring the employee experience reflects NextSense’s values of community, respect, courage, communication, empowerment, and integrity, enabling the organisation to continue lifting the limits of what’s possible.
This is an on-site position at the new purpose-built and world-leading centre for innovation at Macquarie University in Sydney, NSW.
If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and help lift the limits of what’s possible for people with hearing and vision loss across Australia, we’d love to hear from you.
