Independent Living Villages (ILV) is a not-for-profit disability housing provider focusing on SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) for NDIS participants.

ILV has over 100 accommodation spaces and more in the pipeline. ILV helps participants find and thrive in homes tailored to their needs.

We’re seeking a values-driven, experienced CEO to lead the next phase of growth—expanding our housing portfolio, deepening our impact, and delivering excellence for our residents.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for delivering ILV’s strategy and overseeing day-to-day operations. You’ll lead a small, passionate team to:

• Drive SDA property development and partnerships
• Ensure financial sustainability and compliance
• Strengthen resident experience and engagement
• Foster strong relationships with investors, residents, SIL (Supported Independent Living) providers, and government stakeholders
• Support the Board with strategic insights and sound governance

About you

You’re a seasoned CEO or senior executive with property experience - ideally in social impact sectors like disability, aged care, social housing, or community services. You combine commercial acumen with a deep commitment to human dignity, inclusion, and housing choice.

You understand the NDIS, have a track record in business growth, and know what it takes to build high-performing teams, manage risk, and navigate regulatory complexity. You thrive on relationships and believe in leading with purpose.
