IEU-QNT is a union representing over 16,000 teacher, school officer and services staff members in non-government education institutions throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Applications are sought for a full-time, continuing Senior Industrial Officer.
The applicant must be a highly experienced and capable industrial practitioner able to undertake, manage and co-ordinate specified projects and matters in support of a broad industrial agenda.
In the first instance the key responsibility will be to undertake individual and group representation of classification issues relevant to school officer members.
An allied project will be to plan, develop and mount a work value case regarding wage rates paid to school officers under the classification structure.
Additional duties consistent with an industrial officer may be allocated.
Applicants require demonstrated experience in classification and work value matters.
Applicants should have knowledge and experience of work classification and work value principles.
The position is based in Brisbane.
A salary package of more than $150K, dependent on qualifications and experience, will be determined.
Excellent working conditions in accordance with the IEUA-QNT Officer Collective Agreement 2024.
