IEUA-QNT is a union representing over 16,000 teacher, school officer and services staff members in non-government education institutions throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Applications are sought for the following full-time, continuing position:

ORGANISER – NT Division 

The duties of this full-time, continuing position include:

• recruiting and encouraging member activism
• developing workplace strategies in conjunction with members
• conducting training courses
• representing union members in negotiations 
• providing advice and support for union members

The position will be based in Darwin and the Organiser will support members and worksites throughout the Northern Territory.

An education background and recent experience in schools will be favourably considered. 

Applicants should have effective reporting and communication skills.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

A salary package dependent on qualifications and experience will be determined.
