We are looking for an experienced practitioner with a commercial mindset and a passion for social impact to join the Parramatta based Care Services team responsible for supporting participants living in Western Sydney and Western Region of NSW.
You can make funding decisions on treatment, rehabilitation and care supports for people with severe injuries following a motor vehicle accident and understand how disability impacts on daily living and have an ability to review requests for attendant care supports. You will provide advice to maximise people’s independence and identify when the individual would benefit from early intervention and various types of supports.
You’ll be a team player and you’ll work within a multi-functional team which has a diverse mix of committed and focused people who really care about making a difference for people and the NSW community. You will have a mind for getting things done and a heart for people. You’ll set the bar high through the quality of the work you do and the people-oriented decisions you make.
From an Allied Health, disability, or complex injury management background, you’ll use your critical reasoning skills to ensure a high degree of integrity in the decision-making process. You’ll use your excellent communication skills to build rapport and communicate complex information.
It’s an exciting environment and on a typical day you might find yourself:
We are a supportive and socially conscious organisation. Our DNA of commercial mind and social heart captures who we are at our core.
If you think you’re the right person for this role, apply now. Don’t delay as we’re assessing applications as they are received. We’d love to hear how your capabilities, achievements and experience set you apart.
We know our strength comes from the diversity of our people and so we want people with different experiences and backgrounds to apply. We recognise the importance of balance and flexibility and understand that it’s not a one size fits all approach, so we’d be happy to talk about and consider your specific needs.
If there are any accessibility adjustments you need to help you be able to apply for this role, or if you require any further information about the role, please contact Kerry Goode on [email protected] using the subject line: Complex Injury Management - Review Officer enquiry via EthicalJobs.
Please note that you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport to apply for this role and have a current Working with Children Check.
