SELECTION CRITERIA

The role will suit someone who has:

  • Proven experience in project coordination or management in healthcare, research, or public health
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience providing secretariat or governance support to committees or working groups
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Qualifications desired:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and highly organised project professional to join our small team at ANZCHOG. In this role, you will be coordinating and managing the delivery of strategic programs that support ANZCHOG’s purpose of advancing paediatric cancer care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the operation and activities of ANZCHOG’s Discipline and Special Interest Groups
  • Managing project coordination tasks across multiple national initiatives
  • Providing high-quality secretariat and governance support for steering committees and project working groups
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement across clinical, research, and community representatives

You are a natural communicator and collaborator, with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to significant initiatives that are shaping the future of paediatric cancer care.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

This position is full time (1.0 FTE) capacity. Salary is based on Scientific Support Group TAP 7 ($102,780 - $112,729) range dependent on level of experience. Superannuation of 11.5% and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
