At Albany PCYC, we go beyond ordinary childcare. Our thriving and dynamic Out of School Hours Care service, along with Vacation Care and before school care, provide an enriching experience for children.

The role of the OSHC Assistant Educator is to assist and lead in the routine review and implementation of quality and relevant programs for school aged children. In this role you will need to be available for early morning and afternoon shifts, as well as full days during vacation care.

About you

  • Currently holds/working towards a recognised qualification of Certificate 3 or higher in: Early Childhood Educations and Care, Out of School Hours Care, Education Support, School-based education or Diploma or degree in Teaching Education, recreation or sport science
  • Current Child Care First Aid Certificate
  • Basic knowledge of childcare industry and legislative requirements.
  • Experience supervising recreational activities, ensuring compliance with OHS regulations
  • Hold (or willing to obtain) a current National Police Clearance, Working With Children Check and a certificate qualification of handling food for children services.
