They are currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified senior nursing leader to undertake this important and challenging role.
The Executive Director of Clinical Services (EDCS) provides strategic leadership and operational management of the Nursing Directorate (which includes Workforce Training and Development) and also the Pharmacy Department.
The EDCS is responsible for the development of clinical standards of care and metrics to ensure a high quality, safe and responsive consumer experience at CAH. The EDCS fosters collaborative clinical relationships across the organisation to ensure CAH’s clinical services are coordinated, fiscally appropriate and prioritised to meet our consumer’s health needs.
To be considered for this role, you will hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the AHPRA and preferably a postgraduate qualification in health, business or management. You will have extensive experience in a senior management position in healthcare with a demonstrated record of achievement within a complex health care environment; able to formulate and establish an integrated approach to achieve organisational objectives. You will likewise have substantial experience leading people and change management strategies including an understanding of industrial relations with knowledge of relevant Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and processes.
