<p>Moreland Community Child Care Centres (MCCCC) is a non-profit, community-based organisation offering a high-quality early learning program, (including integrated kindergarten) based on best practices to cater to the diverse needs of the children in our care:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Dunstan Reserve: 72 children daily within age-based room settings.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Mitchell Street: 35 children daily, within a multi-aged grouping approach.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Tinning Street: 35 children daily, within a multi-aged grouping approach.</strong></li>

<h3><strong>About the Role:</strong></h3>
<p>We are currently seeking a visionary strategic leader to advance MCCCC&rsquo;s commitment to excellent early years programs, while ensuring the organisation remains financially sustainable and upholds the highest quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in positioning MCCCC as an exemplar in Education and Care Services, a preferred employer, and a dynamic role model within the broader education sector.</p>
<p>The Executive Director reports to the Committee of Management and is well supported by an established senior leadership team. This senior leadership role aims to inspire staff and provide leadership to ensure the strategic objectives are met, including building and improving the professional knowledge, pedagogical capacity and infrastructure in the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) workforce.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute a visionary, long-term plan to ensure financial stability and strategic planning.</li>
<li>Develop innovative strategies and action plans, elevating MCCCC quality, productivity, and professionalism.</li>
<li>Oversee identifying, assessing, and mitigating organisational risks, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.</li>
<li>Foster and instil a culture of improvement, encouraging adaptability and a commitment to ongoing enhancement.</li>
<li>Provide subject matter expertise pertaining broadly to early learning including legal, regulatory, and professional requirements and support to the Committee of Management.</li>
<li>Act as the official representative of MCCCC, articulating its&rsquo; interests and concerns in various forums and networks, while nurturing essential relationships, and cultivating collaborative partnerships and strategic alliances with local government and community stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What We Seek:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Relevant qualification (Early Childhood, Management, Business) and/or experience in a relevant field.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, community partners, and industry networks.</li>
<li>Proven understanding of the early childhood education challenges for long daycare.</li>
<li>Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic vision, demonstrating leadership in guiding the organisation toward its long-term goals.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and manage strategic and operational risks, coupled with expertise in ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional requirements.</li>
<li>Significant leadership experience and ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams across multiple sites, fostering strong teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Government legislation, regulations and industry awards, the current policy, legislation, regulations and issues affecting the Early childhood sectors.</li>
