About the Role
CareSouth has an exciting opportunity for a Manager - Practice Improvement & Quality to lead the CareSouth Practice Improvement and Quality team. The location of this role is negotiable with the right applicant and will be based at one of our offices across NSW which include the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Southern NSW/ACT or Western NSW.
Reporting directly to the Executive Officer: Practice, this pivotal role is a member of the Executive Leadership Group (ELG) and works in partnership with all CareSouth programs to ensure our practice and quality continues to deliver positive outcomes for children, young people and families.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has extensive experience in community services, including permanency support, disability services and early intervention
- Possess great leadership skills to support their team to achieve their goals
- Is enthusiastic and passionate in contributing to the strategic direction of the organisation, and provides best practice and quality across all our programs
The successful applicant will have:
- Social work degree or equivalent/relevant degree qualification
- 5 years experience in a similar senior leadership role
- Comprehensive experience in casework practice in child protection and disabilities with a strong understanding of permanency principles and trauma informed practice
- Experience in developing, implementing and evaluations Quality Improvement plans
- Previous experience in facilitating practice improvement training with the ability to achieve increased capability across a diverse workforce
- Previous coaching or mentoring experience in a similar position with the ability to inspire others and lead change
- Demonstrated skills in the development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of quality accredited and non-accredited adult training initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Previous experience in developing a various training programs including face to face and e-learning modules
- Understanding of research to practice
- Ability to extract and analyse various data streams to identify practice gaps
- Ability to design innovative methods that improve practice and the quality of services
- Current NSW drivers licence
- Willing to undergo a National Police Check and (NSW) Working with Children Check clearance and or (ACT) Working with Vulnerable People Card.
