Position Snapshot

  • Salary range Clerks -Private Sector Award (Level 4)- $59,536.88 + 17.5% Leave Loading + Superannuation
  • Part time (0.8 FTE) ongoing position – working Monday to Friday however,
  • Online/Flexible.  We are a dedicated online workplace. Location is fully dependent upon successful applicant.
  • Laptop and fortnightly IT allowance provided
  • Full on-line IT support 

Position overview

The role of Administration Support Officer is a key role that straddles both critical back-office administration and processing functions, as well as front-facing customer support for members and the general public.  A combination of data entry, customer service and planning, the role is a fundamental part of the glue the keeps the organisation running.

The role supports current members and other housing professionals located across Australia and New Zealand, to engage with and participate in a variety of training programs, networking events and other learning and development activities to become the best housing professional they can be.

About You

You are a values driven, passionate and highly motivated individual who likes to support others and get things done.  You like systems and processes, but you also enjoy pushing boundaries and improving the way the workplace functions.  You are comfortable working remotely and being part of an online team, engaging with staff and members from Perth to Auckland, Hobart to Darwin and everywhere in between.

This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working effectively with inbound calls from AHI Members, corporate enquiries and the general public, regarding our service offerings, training programs and other member events.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills; and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent and engaging interpersonal skills and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Sound level of MS Office
