Our client is a Not-For-Profit based in Victoria and New South Wales and is instrumental in supporting thousands of Australians with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities and developmental delays in achieving their goals. They are a registered provider under the NDIS and deliver a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation, lifestyle options and therapy.

The role

Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, the Social Media Coordinator will create and coordinate the production of engaging digital content that enhances our client’s brand and promotes their products and services. By creating various content across a range of social media platforms, you will be schedule and publish posts and monitor and analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with different departments to highlight their services and success stories through engaging content.
  • Build and nurture online communities around our brand, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Respond to inquiries, comments, and direct messages promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Ensure consistent and on-brand communication across all platforms, reflecting our company's values and mission.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging with ongoing campaigns and promotions.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skill set and drive:

  • A qualification in Multimedia, Design, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation
  • Must have high skill level with Canva and social media platforms – IG, Facebook, LinkedIn, You Tube.
  • Excellent grammar, writing/copywriting, video editing and proofreading skills
  • Understanding of digital content design. Previous experience in In-design will be well regarded.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, SEO, Campaign Monitor and their best practices.
  • Ability to analyse data and use insights to improve strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.
