THE OPPORTUNITY

• Salary: $87,716 - $96,613 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
• Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
• Location: Chadstone campus.
• WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
• Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
• Position Status: 12-month contract of employment with possibility of extension.

The Apprentice Success team is in search for two motivated individuals to join their team as Field Officers, a dedicated department committed to providing comprehensive support, guidance, and advisory services to apprentices and employers across Victoria. By working closely with the Victorian TAFE network as part of the Apprentice Connect Australia Provider network, we ensure that these essential resources are consistently available within the apprentices' educational environments.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to apprentices and employers throughout their apprenticeship journey. You will engage with both apprentices and employers to identify needs and eliminate barriers, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all involved. ABOUT YOU

• Extensive knowledge of the apprenticeships/traineeships system, including administration, qualifications, and the roles and responsibilities of employers and apprentices.
• Vast industry experience, with familiarity of policies and procedures related to compliance requirements in the apprenticeship and training sector and the clean energy sector.
• Sound knowledge of mentoring practices and support modes for young adults facing specific life challenges.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and SMS Database systems and ability to show initiative and work without direct supervision.
• Trade training qualification at Certificate III level or extensive work experience in the apprenticeship field. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is desirable.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.
